Digital Media is a module-based course that allows students to explore their interests in the realms of graphic design, video production, web development, animation, 2D and 3D modelling, digital art, and more. Students in Digital Media will have access to the multimedia labs at Chinook as well as the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Students must complete a few mandatory modules in their first year of Digital Media to gain an understanding behind design theory and best practices, however a majority of the Digital Media program is rooted in student choice and self-learning project development.
Mandatory modules are indicated by the black buttons.

Recommended Module Pathways
It is expected that students complete five modules in a semester to earn their five credits (one module = one credit). Below are recommended modules to include in a potential semester plan to help students organize which modules they would like to complete based on different interests.
These are samples - student semester plans may include a mix of a variety of module topics they would like to explore. Certain modules require certain pre-requisites to be completed - always check with Amanda after creating your semester plan to ensure you have the correct pre-requisites.
